5 Ways to Beat Procrastination

1. Create a list.
Have you ever walked into a room with a purpose and then completely forgotten why you walked into that room in the first place? Yeah, you’re not the only one. Create a “to do” list to serve as a reminder. Not only do you cover your grounds but you also eliminate the redundant task behind trying to remember what you need to do.
2. Divide and conquer.
After jotting down all your tasks maybe you want to set up a time frame or a deadline. This will subconsciously obligate you to meet your own deadline and/or possibly make you feel like utter crap when you've failed to accomplish your own deadline. I don't know about you but I avoid accompanying misery like the Bubonic plague.
3. Don't leave for tomorrow what you can accomplish today.
Seriously, why keep adding to tomorrows list when you already have enough to do. Tackle, tackle, tackle!!
4. Just do it.
Nike has a point!! It's really not going to do itself, nor is anyone going to do it for you.
5. Reward yourself.
After all is said and done of course!! Pat yourself on the back, take a nap, go for a run or maybe some dessert; whatever floats your euphoric boat.
